Get your business on Google+ Pages. Finally!

I’ve been patiently waiting for this move and now it’s here. While Facebook is still the gorilla in the social media room, it’s worth setting up your company’s Google+ page online. I’m certainly going to!

In life we connect with all kinds of people, places and things. There’s friends and family, of course, but there’s also the sports teams we root for, the coffee shops we’re loyal to, and the TV shows we can’t stop watching (to name a few).

So far Google+ has focused on connecting people with other people. But we want to make sure you can build relationships with all the things you care about—from local businesses to global brands—so today we’re rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide.

Windows 7 running more than 64 logical processors

And here I thought I was the big man on campus running my desktop PC with 8 logical processors. Check out this graphic below. This is really only designed for server-class machines but you know how that goes; pretty soon we’ll have 64 processors not only on our desk but probably the mobile phone.

Below is the Windows 7 Task Manager CPU performance tab on a system with 160 logical processors.

CPU Usage History table contains 160 tiny cells, each showing a moving line graph of usage.

Google Apps finally get Google Plus. Yippie!

I’m a huge fan of Google apps and was continually frustrated in connecting my native Google Apps account to Google Plus. I had to workaround it and use my personal Gmail account. I’m glad that’s over. Google finally enabled Google+ inside Google Apps and business users everywhere are cheering

Hawaii coverage of Steve Jobs

Special thanks to Lisa Kubota and photographer “Peter” for giving me the chance to put in my two cents on Steve Jobs passing.

Unlimited iPhone Data for Sprint: $80/mo

I know many Sprint customers who wanted an iPhone will be happy to know that they can have their unlimited cake for $79.99/mo. This includes 450 minutes. I’ve got a similar plan on Sprint (for my EVO 4G) and because this plan (of mine) has unlimited mobile to mobile minutes AND most of my phone calls are to other mobile phones, I’m usually way under my limit every month. It’s a great deal.

I’ve read other reports saying that Sprint “bet the farm” on the iPhone4s so good luck to them

Sprint will indeed offer unlimited
