Kinect enables a new paradigm of user intefaces
The Kinect is a hands-free game controller for the Xbox 360 and is well on its way to a smashing success this holiday season. The hidden story is that the Kinect’s ability to sense human movement is enabling an entirely new human interface paradigm for desktop computers. Only a a few years ago the Tom Cruise was using a special glove to manipulate the screens in “Minority Report”. Today, we can do the same thing…without a glove!.
