A new YouTube app has hit the Android Market. That’s right, it’s been broken out of the ROM and is in the Android Market, part of that whole break-out-of-the-ROM-and-into-the-market movement that’s going on.

T-Mobile “unlimited” plan = 5GB limitation. How is that unlimited again?

Earlier this month, T-Mobile reduced its “unlimited” data cap to 5GB, but took the unusual (and welcome!) step of merely throttling users that go over this limit, rather than charging them fines. It seems that change was in preparation for a whole slew of bigger ones at America’s number four carrier — tiered data is in. Phones will now be put into one of three categories with the following data plans:

Have you tried the Starbucks Digital Network?

These days I’ve got my own 4G access so I don’t connect to “wild” wifi hotspots. If you have connected to the Starbucks Digital Network I’d love to have your feedback

Beginning Wednesday, Starbucks customers who use the free Wi-Fi at more than 6,800 U.S. company-operated stores will be greeted with the Starbucks Digital Network (SDN) — an exclusive content network curated by the company and designed to enhance the customer’s in-store experience.

Starbucks has been teasing SDN for months, but now that the network is about to go live we have a much clearer idea about the type of content provided and the purpose behind the digital endeavor.

Starbucks’s Vice President of Digital Ventures Adam Brotman sat down with Mashable (Mashable) in advance of the October 20 launch day for a complete tour.

“The vision,” he says, “is for Starbucks Digital Network to be a digital version of the community cork board that’s in all of our stores.”
