Peter Kay
Peter is a serial tech entrepreneur, launching over 6 startups beginning in 1982 and has been developing software since 1978, holding 6 technology patents. He is credited with launching Hawaii‘s first commercial website and the founding sites of most of Hawaii’s blue-chip firms including Bank of Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines, Hilo Hattie, Maui Divers, and the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.
His current startup is LivingInHawaii.Com - a gated online community serving those planning to move to Hawaii.
Peter is regarded by many as a technology operations visionary, demonstrated by an email inbox that is completely empty (i.e. zero emails) at the end of each workday. He has been operating in a completely paperless environment since the early 2000s (his desk not seeing a single slip of paper since). One of his companies, Titan Key Software, developed an international product using a global remote workforce without a single interactive phone call - and this was in 2003. CyberCom’s corporate operations were entirely built on a cloud-based office-free remote work infrastructure in 2011 - requiring zero adjustment to the seismic workplace shifts in the pandemic.
